Finance Officer job at Salaam Bank

Description Salaam Bank Uganda is hiring a Finance Officer to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of the Bank’s financial data across Internal and External Accounts and maintaining Account integrity and ensuring that Financial records are in compliance with regulatory and internal policies. Uganda business directory Responsibilities: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation status reports Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and exception reporting Identify, investigate, and resolve all discrepancies or unusual items on time Support the finance team in implementing controls to mitigate financial risks Review and reconcile accounts related to mobile banking, agency banking, and clearing systems. Qualifications & Experience A Business degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or any relevant field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Professional certifications like CPA or ACCA required Strong risk awareness.
