WE ARE HIRING ICT OFFICER Responsibilities: Manage the business’s computing assets and infrastructure including installing, upgrading and maintaining hardware systems and networks in the workplace. Install and configure the software including operating systems, offices and business applications. Take the IT Champion in branches through a series of actions, either face to face or over the phone, to help set up IT equipment or resolve issues. Conduct routine activities including daily system health check, regular software updates, continuous data backups, end point security updates among others. Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports and the roll out of new applications. In liaison with the Group IT Team, provide support on the shared infrastructure services like SDWAN, end point security, Microsoft 365, etc. Provide continuous end user training on various aspects including basic self-trouble shooting skills, refresher on the best use of core and office applications, cyber security awareness and much more. Preventative maintenance exercise for the end user equipment. Manage and maintain programs hosted in the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Provide support of all core Insurance business system and other line of business applications not limited to General Insurance business system (sims), Health Insurance Business system (EO2). Security patches download and management for the applications, software related to core system and line of business applications. Assist in Network management and Server support management with the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Manager. Monitor and ensure compliance with IT audit requirements. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in business information technology, Computer Science or a related field. Certification in Microsoft servers, Networking, Linux, Oracle, Office 365. Required Skills/Competencies: Results driven. Customer Service. Flexibility. Technical Credibility. Accountability.
