KYOMUHENDO DEO KAMPALA

Kyomuhendo Deo is a Ugandan educator, project manager, and community development professional committed to empowering youth and promoting sustainable development. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Education in Mathematics and Economics and has over five years of experience in teaching, project coordination, and community engagement. Deo worked as a Project Coordinator at the International Foundation for Recovery and Development (IFRAD), managing a wildlife conservation and livelihood project funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Small Grants Programme. In this role, he mobilized communities, collaborated with district leaders and organizations, and trained over 400 youths in environmental conservation, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and climate-smart livelihood activities such as beekeeping and small businesses. In the education sector, Deo has taught at International School in Uganda, simplifying complex concepts and mentoring students to achieve academic excellence. He has also served as a guest speaker at leadership and biodiversity training programs at institutions including Gulu University, Metropolitan International University, and the Uganda National Leadership Institute. Passionate about education, environmental protection, human rights, and youth empowerment, Deo’s vision is to become a global change-maker contributing to social, economic, and environmental transformation in Uganda and beyond.
