Recovery Officers

Duty Station: Fortportal, Soroti & Matugga Reports to: Recovery & Tracking Admin Job Summary: The Recovery officer will be responsible for enforcing the complete repayment of all non-performing loans and impounding vehicles from defaulting clients. Responsibilities: 1. Calling Asaak’s clients and encouraging them to repay their loans. 2. Monitoring loan payments. 3. Ensuring that the set targets on bad debt recoveries are met. 4. Monitoring tracking devices in clients’ motorbikes and reporting suspicious behavior (including nights and weekends as needed). 5. Impounding vehicles from defaulting clients. 6. Conducting field visits associated with recoveries and compliance. 7. Managing assigned loan portfolio. 8. Taking individual action as per policy to recover delinquent loans, and any other duty as may be assigned. Qualifications and specifications: ● Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in microfinance or any related field. ● Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure. ● Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Must have high levels of personal and professional integrity. ● Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid riding license with Class A.
